The 132nd birth anniversary of Swami Vibulananda Adigalar, the world's first Tamil 
professor Muthamil Vidhakar, was organized by the Karaitivu Pradeshiya Sabha today, 
27.03.2024, Wednesday at 9.30 am at Vibulananda Square and the event of garlanding the 
statue of Swami Vibulananda was also held there.

On this occasion, A. Sundarakumar, secretary of Karaitivu Pradeshiya Sabha, garlanded the 
idol of Swami.Also, along with District Cultural Officer K. Jayarajee, members of the 
Swami Vibulananda Memorial Working Committee, Pradeshiya Sabha officers, employees and 
village dignitaries also participated in this event.
